Seguendo i disegni originali di Juan Ferràndiz, ANRI ha creato questa serie di 4 piccole sculture in legno di acero da appendere. Ogni scultura è realizzata a mano e dipinta con delicati colori in tinte pastello. Misurano 10 cm d’altezza e possono essere acquistate separatamente.

Juan Ferràndiz

Juan Ferràndiz Castells nacque a Barcellona, Spagna, dove visse per tutta la vita. E’ conosciuto come poeta, artista, illustratore e autore di 21 libri per bambini in catalano e 43 in spagnolo. Il suo nome si lega anche ai suoi originali biglietti natalizi che esprimono tutta la sua particolare personalità. Juan Ferràndiz era un pittore che scriveva poesie ed un poeta che dipingeva quadri. Ferràndiz studiò all’Accademia di Belle Arti e fu poi docente d’arte all’Università Industriale, continuando però sempre a disegnare con una speciale predilezione per i temi dell’infanzia. I suoi soggetti includono, di preferenza, svariati piccoli animali come gatti, cani, topolini, conigli, scoiattoli, uccelli o agnelli, sempre vicini gli uni agli altri come simboli di fratellanza, in armonia con l’innocenza dell’infanzia. In tutte le sue creazioni si ritrova la sua filosofia di vita, intesa verso la poesia, la concordia ed un amore puro per tutti gli esseri umani, senza distinzione sociale o di nazionalità. Juan Ferràndiz morì nell’agosto del 1997, all’età di 79 anni.

Juan Ferràndiz, born in Barcelona, Spain, poet, artist, illustrator and author of 21 children’s books in Catalan and 43 in Spanish, is known as the creator of the most symbolically rich and original Christmas cards which have been printed inside and outside Catatonia and the Spanish State. He was, basically, a painter who wrote poetry and a poet who painted pictures. Ferràndiz receives his basic artistic education at the Academy of Fine Arts and was Art Professor at the Industrial University while devoting himself to the design of figures based on his special predilection for childlike themes. His subjects include various small animals, such as cats, dogs, mices, rabbits, squirrels, birds, lambs, always united as symbols of fraternity in harmony with the innocence of childhood. The complete opus of Ferràndiz is to create a world of love, of comprehension and of poetry where hatred is banished and where peace is the one message which unites people from all over the world. Juan Ferràndiz died in August 1997 at the age of 79 years.
